LOCAL drivers were once again heavily involved in the action at the Norfolk Arena last Saturday.
In the 2L Bangers, Ady Gibbs (Walpole St Peter) picked up an entertainer award in his heat for a monster shot and Steve Hemmings (Wisbech) picked up an entertainer award in the final.
The best local finisher in the final was Nicky “Spud” Young (Elm) who came home in third place with Luke Allen tenth, before Allen went on to win the Destruction Derby.
In the 2L Saloon Stock Car English Championship Mo Crowson (Leverington) bagged great drives in his heats for seventh and eighth places.
In the 1300 Stock Cars John Moat (Wisbech) notched a final win. John’s son Dean also made the podium in third place with Jonny Pearce (Wisbech) tenth.
