Fenland Barbarians U14 made the trip to Grimsby and were rewarded with a 54-0 win, running in 10 well-worked tries and two conversions.

Tries by: Max Wilson 3 on the left wing, Elliott Scott on the opposite wing 2, Cameron Finlay 2 from the centre and Luke Green, kicking both conversions. Other tries by Archie Lyall and James Luto.

Notable performances also by David Betts for brave rucking and Adam Overton for some tremendous tackling and carries.

Head coach Alex Wilcox said: “There was no one man of the match, instead a great overall team performance.”

Wisbech Rugby Club U9’s had a fantastic game away at Ely Tigers on Sunday with some excellent defending.

Results: Game 1 draw 1-1 (Harry Davidson). Game 2 won 7-0 (top try scorers Harry West 3, Davidson 2). Game 3 won 8-1 (top try scorer Davidson 3).
