WISBECH Grammar School’s under 13 rugby team were again in good form at a top tournament finishing runners-up at the Manchester International Sevens Festival.

The youngsters defeated Blackpool and Preston in the pool games and drew with Macclesfield. In the semi-final they defeated Fylde 36-5, but in the final they lost 26-12 to Chester.

They were presented with their medals by World Cup winner Jason Robinson.

Two months ago they won the Lewis Booth Memorial Trophy after beating Ampleforth’s preparatory school and St Martin’s in the final of the Malsis Sevens.
