First black belt grading

A momentous occasion took place for some of the students from the Bushido Warrior Karate School with the first Black belt grading since the school was founded.'The eligible students were put through 3 hours of tests which are designed to take them beyond there physical and mental limits. This was carried out in front of an examination panel consisting of very high ranking martial artists.'Passes were Oliver Howley and Jack Smyth first Dan Adult and Aaron Frost first Dan Junior. Also taking part in preparation for his Black Belt next year was Junior Liam Horspole. Sensei Richard Smyth who is the founder of the School also passed his 3rd Dan Black Belt.'Sensei Richard said: "I am extremely proud of my students. They gave their maximum effort for what is an'extremely difficult test. Very few people per capita hold the rank of Black Belt. If you took all the people who start'Martial arts, only 3% attain a Black Belt. This is due to the years of hard work that a student has to commit to. My'special thanks go to Se
