East Men’s League 2N

March Town 1,
Cambridge City 3rds 4

Having lost this away fixture earlier in the season March were looking to put the record straight in a bid to close the gap on Cambs City.

March had possibly their worst start to the game as they found themselves 3-0 down in the first ten minutes and failed to capitalise on Cambs being down to 10 men midway through the first half.

The second half was more of an even contest. March did pull a goal back through Jody Betts towards the end and Cambs scored a breakaway goal.

l In East Women’s League 3NW(S), March Town lost 2-0 at home to St Ives 3rds.
