Harleston Magpies 2nds 1

Man of the match Danny Sisson netted five times in this Prem B fixture.

The whole Sutton team were working hard to close Magpies down and turned the ball over with lightning speed, going 6-0 up at the break.

Harrison netted twice while Batten scored his first goal for the team.

Spalding scored three times in the first half, including a penalty stroke, but after the interval only added another one.

Leanne Woodhead’s shot was blocked, but rebounded kindly to the in-form Sarah Walker who calmly slotted home a last minute winner.

Sutton’s young and enthusiastic midfield of Gray, Carr, Goodley and Maplethorpe were soon overwhelmed by the speed, experience and skill of the unbeaten Wisbech side but their heads never went down.
