KART ace George Russell notched two wins for Forza Racing at the third round of the British Championship at the Larkhall circuit.
With ever-changing weather conditions, Russell was on slicks for qualifying and despite running out of time to adjust the tyre pressure still achieved a respectable 6th place.
He brought home second and third places in the heats, to position himself in second place for the final.
Carburation issues looked set to flaw the final for Russell, allowing Croatian driver Martin Kodric to exploit a 1.8 second lead. Russell recorded the fastest lap and went by Kodric for victory. In the second race, although under pressure throughout, Russell seized a lights-to-flag victory, making it four out of six wins in the MSA British Championship to-date.
Russell now heads to Braga in Portugal for the first round of the Academy Trophy, for which the Motor Sports Association (MSA) selected him to represent the United Kingdom.
