Golden Graham gains Wisbech Wheelers cycling top spot

With all the top riders missing from the Wisbech Tuesday evening event it was a middle markers competition.

Graham Horspool took top spot in 24.58 and 60-plus cyclists Pete Baldwin and Tony Bye were in second and third with 25.10 and 25.19 respectively.

Numbers were down at the weekend also with just three Wisbech Wheelers at the King’s Lynn Open ‘25’ where lady vet Becky Murley rode strongly and took second in the ladies with 1.07.12, 50+ vet, Paul Willis took 1.09.17 and Wisbech runner Alan Bird recorded 1.09.54 in his first-ever 25-miler.
