WISBECH Swimming Club travelled to Deeping to compete in the 4th round of the Junior Fenland League and a good team effort from all swimmers saw Wisbech finish third with a total of 147 points, 20 points behind Cambridge who won the round.

1st places: Jacob Rhodes (2), Megan Kierman, Jessica Rayner, Carl Purvey, Robson Pack, Emily Kelly (2), Beth Dennis (2), Tom Locke, Jack Lane, Connor Lester and Remi Clare.

2nd places: Alice Dennis, Remi Clare (2), Carl Purvey, Megan Kierman, Connor Lester.

3rd places: Oliver Harris, Charlie Bourne, Tom Locke, Alice Dennis, Jessica Rayner(2), Oliver Harris (2), Emily Kelly, Charlie Bourne, Lauren Lester, Beth Dennis, Emily Kelly.

4th places: Beth Dennis, Ashley Ward(2), Ryan Carey, Jessica Rayner.

A total of 21 new personal best times were achieved and four cut-off times were broken.

Lauren Lester and Charlie Bourne made their debuts in the Junior Fenland League team and Robson Pack broke the cut-off time for the 13 and under 50m breastroke, in what was to be his last event in the Junior Fenland League.
