March Town 6,

St Ives 2nds 2

March carried their unbeaten run into the Christmas break of eight wins.

The middle three of Adam Graham, Mat Bamford and David Haslegrave were superb and St Ives couldn’t handle them.

Jody Betts added three goals to his tally while captain Bamford and Ryan Wright scored one apiece to make it 5-0 at half-time.

The second half performance was totally different as they allowed St Ives to pull two goals back.

Betts scored his fourth and was named man of the match.

The real work starts next year as they have three games in a row that could decide the outcome of their season.

March Ladies 9,

St Neots 3rds 3

March continue their unbeaten run which puts them nine points clear at the top of the table.

March took an early lead when Becky Hammond scored from a shot at the top of the D. Charlotte Norman increased the lead.

But St Neots fought hard and slotted a goal past goalkeeper Coral Nicolson.

After much determination Norman scored her second goal and at half-time March were winning 3-1.

Louise Minnis scored the fourth goal followed by St Neots scoring their second. Minutes later Lauren Lakey scored a belter.

St Neots replied but March followed with goals by Hammond, Minnis, Norman and Hannah Odlin.

Player of the match was hat-trick hero Charlotte Norman.
