Some 16 swimmers of the Chatteris Kingfishers SC in the Tulip Open Meet in Spalding last weekend came away with another 49 personal bests, a gold medal, two silvers, five bronze, a club record and 57 top six placings.

There were some very successful swims from Jake Hoy, first in 100m breaststroke final and second in both 100m front crawl and backstroke final, with four PBs.

Hallie White notched a second in 100m front crawl, with third in the final, third in 100m butterfly final and fourth in 100m backstroke final, as well as swimming a club record for 13/U 50m front crawl.

Inspirational Liam Hill (14) got into the 100m f/c final where he swam to bronze in a PB time.

Other results: Ben Noble (9) 3rd in 50m butterfly final and 4th in 50m breaststroke final. Thomas Hanley (12) third in 100m breaststroke final and fifth in 100m butterfly final, 7 PBs out of 8 races.

Riley Astley (12) 5th in 100m backstroke, with 3 PBs. Anastassja Herdien 6th in 100m backstroke final, with PBs in 100m I.M. and 100m breaststroke.

Megan Dawson (13) 4th in 100m backstroke final, 4th in 100m f/c final. Chloe Cook 5th in 100m butterfly final, PBs in 100m I.M., backstroke and f/c.

PB times: Adam Ballantyne PBs in all 5 races, 6th in 100m breaststroke final and 7th in both 100m f/c and backstroke. Kiara Kovacs (12) in 50 and 100m f/c, 100m I.M., 100m back and 100m breaststroke. Layla White (9) in 50 and 100m f/c, 100m breaststroke and 100m I.M., Harry Rayner in 100m backstroke and 100m I.M. Molly Noble in 100m I.M. and 100m breaststroke.

Thea Hanley in 50m butterfly, back and breaststroke; Melissa Ablett in 100m breaststroke.
