Fifteen Fenland Running Club members went to Grimsthorpe Castle to compete in the tough multi-terrain 10K organised by Bourne Town Harriers which includes some gruelling hills.
Jack Trow finished in 10th place in a field of 323. Another notable achievement was by Keith White who was 4th in the MV60 category

l Ten members took part in a field of 191 finishers at the Ryston Runners Wissey Half Marathon at Oxborough, Norfolk, on Sunday.
First home for Fenland was Ady Martin. First lady home was Mel Murdoch which gave her 2nd place in the F35 age group. All FRC runners beat the 2-hour milestone.

Four members tackled a 3 mile run, a 14 mile cycle ride and a 3 mile run in the Newmarket Cycling and Triathlon Club’s Duathlon at Stetchworth on Sunday.
Results: Jack Trow 12th out of 119 finishers in a time of 1.12.35. Richard Dix 1.24.55, Lisa Jermey 1.32.02, Pasquale Ruggiero 1.38.24.
l March AC athlete Melissa Neal competed in the Middlesbrough 10km road race at the weekend.
The race was run over a flat one lap loop and Melissa ran a good race to finish third lady in a time of 38mins 24secs. She finished 59th overall from a field of 2000.
