LSHC Ladies 2, Spalding 0

Long Sutton earned their second double victory and their sixth shut out of the season.

Sutton have the tightest defence in the league having conceded only 12 goals so far - in no small part down to keeper Lorraine Wallis.

In the second half Louise Southgate and player of the match Jess Hudson scored.

Sutton on Saturday travel to league leaders Letchworth.

Sutton lacked urgency but managed to defend well.

Sutton broke the deadlock with a trademark Fyson drag flick from a penalty corner and a minute later Sisson found Cook who finished beautifully.

The second half saw Sisson two and Harrison on target. A fantastic team effort which proved too much for fourth in the league Letchworth.

City of Peterborough 5ths 2

Sutton made hard work of things, luckily stand in keeper and MoM Albert Slator was on form. Scorers were Ben Shore, Michael Donaghy and Adam Wiles with the winner.

St Ives 4ths 5,

Sutton travelled with five regular players missing in a game crucial to their 5NW survival and had levelled at 2-2.

Sutton finally succumbed to leaders Horncastle. Ian White had even taken the lead.
