Lol Manning was one of the stars of the night for Wisbech with his unanimous points decision against George Pratt of Leicester. He boxed very well throughout and fully deserved his win.

There was also a very good performance from the Wisbech club’s 17-year-old Bilius Zalpis who looked to be a very good prospect when defeating Ian Harper of Dereham on a unanimous decision.

Aidas Macas (Wisbech) also won on a unanimous decision against Matt Parr of Campol and Andrius Dromontas proved too good for Reece Callum of Ipswich. Marsan Mylozi (Wisbech) also beat Tom Windsor (Campol) on a unanimous decision.

Chris Loginovs (Wisbech) also came out on top with a majority decision against Dave Clark of Boston.

Not so fortunate were Nicky Varguson who lost on a unanimous decision to Owen Oran of Campol and 37-year-old Eddie Matakas was a majority loser to Chris Wians of St Ives.

Chatteris’s Peter Axelson lost to Imian Revat (Leicester) on a unanimous decision. In two skills bouts Wisbech’s Brandon Smith and Ryan Davies both showed good styles.

Wisbech Boxing Club’s Saphire Lee said: “It was a very good night with a good crowd and we had some very good performances from our boxers.”

l Mark Crosby (March ABC) had his second meeting with Jabram Butt (Finchley ABC) on Friday at Milton Keynes ABC, this time winning by a bigger margin

March coach Bernie Wing said: “Mark learned from last time. He boxed much better throughout and won on a unanimous points win. We’re very pleased with that.”
