St Ives 2nds 3, LSHC Mens’ 2nd 2

Sutton started well and good work by man of the match Ed White at the back, along with fine team play in midfield from Stef Fox, Luke Jackson and the returning Pablo Gavaghan, ensured St Ives had little time on the ball.

After good work from Ben Shore on the baseline, Adam Sisson finished to give the Sutton side a deserved lead. The goal seemed to subdue Sutton a little. Just before half time, indecision in the Sutton defence and midfield allowed a chance for an equaliser.

St Ives started the second half well, soon took the lead and then gave themselves a cushion. Sutton finally stirred and were rewarded with an Alex Canham deflected goal from a White cross.
