East Women’s 3NW(S)

March 3, St Ives 2nd 3

March only took a flat 11 to a fast-paced game.

Despite St Ives being four places higher in the league, the teams were evenly matched. Bekki White made a break and passed to Charlotte Norman on the right wing who then struck the ball beautifully, beating the keeper.

After half-time St Ives upped their game and quickly beat March’s keeper. March then upped their ante and Louise Minnis scored two goals within minutes. March temporarily went down to 10 players due to an injury. St Ives took advantage of the shortfall and beat March’s keeper twice for a draw.

Player of the match: Charlotte Norman.
