A group of March Marlins Masters competed at the National Masters Championships at Sheffield,

They were up against some stiff competition this year but this made them more determined, producing two GB and one European record in the 400 free relay and 400 IM relay.

Among their other feats, Steven Mavin 35-39yrs bagged wins in 100 back and fly; Garry Mavin 40-44yrs was second in 100 fly; Andrew Fresher 45-49 yrs in 50 back was second; Richard O’Leary 45-49 yrs recorded his best result in 200 f/c, 14th; while the best result for Martyn Fresher 50-54yrs was 100 IM, 4th.
