Mat is top of the cycling class

In the first cycling evening ‘10’ of the season Loughborough student Mat Webster was quickest in 21.58 followed by triathletes Mat McClure in 22.18 and an excellent 22.45 from his dad, Doug McClure.

Jacob Shailles (15) was the first Junior with 24.42, and in the vets at 72 John Brown started his campaign with a winning 26.00.

At the weekend in the King’s Lynn 2up 25-mile TT Wisbech road racers, Jason Kierman (vet) and David Jakeman both now with St Ives CC beat the rest on a hard course in 57.06. Denese Hallahan and Nick Younge unfortunately punctured and were unable to finish.
