Excellent weather conditions equalled speed in the Wisbech Wheelers Tuesday evening ‘10’ with many riders recording personal bests.
Once again Mat Webster led the charge from Richard Eve and Andy Bean making a record three riders inside 22 mins.
The 72-year-old John Brown leapfrogged his fellow vets with a remarkable 24.39 and continues his week on week improvement. Conditions had changed for the worse by Thursday evening for the club ‘30’ with wind and rain on the course. Mat Webster was fastest followed once again by Eve and Mike MacInerney.
Eve was in action again along with Stuart Emmett on Sunday in the East District 50 mile Championships where they recorded 1.57.51 and 2.00.04 respectively.
