Wisbech Town 4,

Dereham 3

Wisbech were in high spirits after an encouraging performance against national league side St. Albans in the cup the previous weekend, and began this local contest at a frightening pace.

They raced into a 2-0 lead with Daniel Martell and Brad Apted scoring. Dereham levelled, but a picture book drag flick from Sam Blunt and Joe Melton with a penalty flick made it 4-2 at half-time.

Wisbech, urged on by a large Harecroft Road crowd, continue their positive start to the Premier A campaign.

Match day sponsor: Briarfields Hotel, Titchwell. Next weekend Wisbech travel to Chelmsford.
