Ten Fenlanders were in attendance at the increasingly popular Tulip 10k ran on an ‘out and back’ Course in Spalding on Sunday.
With the largest field assembled in its fourth year which saw 180 finishers, runners had to tackle a strong head wind out to the halfway point and endure warming conditions on the return. First home for FRC was Andrew Plume who with his first outing this year recorded a PB in 38.15 and 14th place. He was followed by Richard Hammond while a stand out performance goes to Dave Brammer who produced his quickest 10k for two years, overcoming an injury filled year.
