The Wisbech Tuesday evening cycling TT series is proving very popular and several riders had to be turned away.
The McClures have taken a firm grip on the top spot with Matt McClure taking first in 22.30. Doug, his dad, was second in on equal footing with the team pairing of Mike MacInerney and Julian Van Daalen all on 22.37 and third was up and coming junior Jacob Shailles third solo. First lady was Elaine Roesner and the vets were led home by the most senior rider competing, John Brown.
In the annual Good Friday club ‘10’ at Kings Lynn, Team Velovelocity took first and second with ex-Lynn rider Daniel Bloy almost a minute clear in 21.58 followed by his teammate ex–Wisbech rider Matt Webster with 22.56. Third home was Mark Eley of Ely & District CC in 23.31. The ladies were led home by Wisbech Wheeler Elaine Roesner and Wisbech’s Lou Campion.
