Minnis and Hana Howsam shot the ball into the D where Charlotte Norman slotted the ball into the right hand side of the goal. Bekki White secured the third goal.

During the second half a defender blocked the ball with her body in the D resulting in a penalty flick, which Minnis scored from.

PoM: Jess Hill.

East Men’s League 2N

Cambridge Uni 3rd 1, March Town 1

March took the lead midway through the first half when Jody Betts took it past a couple of defenders before slotting past the keeper.

March paid the price for not taking their chances when Cambridge equalised after a lapse in concentration. The second half was more of the same as both sides had plenty of chances.

Man of the match: Andrew Wright.

Next weekend March travel to Cambridge City 3rds.

East Men’s League 5NW

Spalding 4th 1, March Town 2nd 4

In the first five minutes Spalding looked strong and scored from a short corner.

Shortly after Hugh Whittome setup a fantastic ball to Charlie Boughton who made it one-all. March then took control and scored three goals before half time. MoM Boughton grabbed a hat-trick.

Next weekend March host St Ives 4ths.
