Despite some boggy flooded routes, the March AC-organised annual Hereward Relay was a huge success.

With a record number of 112 teams the four leg relay from Peterborough to Ely following the Hereward Way cross country, the stage routes were more difficult than ever due to the heavy rain. Although many club members were marshalling and time keeping, March managed to have five teams in the race.
