The head of rugby at Wisbech Grammar School, Alex Laybourne, has been appointed Scotland women under 20s coach.
Mr Laybourne started coaching at Loughborough University and has spent three months in Barbados, two months in Guyana and two months in Zambia. He has also coached Leicestershire Women, Leicestershire U15s and Leicestershire U20s.
His current commitments include acting as national director of the independent school national U18 team and working with Peterborough Rugby Club.
Mr Laybourne said: “I am looking forward to working in the international rugby environment and being able to use the knowledge to help develop our pupils.”
The school also had Zambian rugby officials visit last week.
