The four seeded teams made it through to the March Friday Night Summer Darts League semi-finals, but only just.

Holders One Vision were knocked out by No More Bets in a high quality encounter. The GER side had the best of the early stages and went into a 5-2 lead. 501 singles wins for Andy Findley over Les Hodkinson and Steve Carrett over Jamie Long secured the win.

Steve top scored for No More Bets with 13 ton plusses; Juliet Findley recorded nine tons and Andy Findley hit a maximum 180. For One Vision, Les Hodkinson included a maximum 180 in 14 ton plusses and both Andy Elmore and Ashley Loveday hit maximum 180’s.

Parkfield won the last three 501 singles games 2-1 to beat the Cock Inn 7-5. In a tight, tense affair, Tim Fulcher top scored for the Wimblington side with an impressive 14 ton plus scores; team mate Neil Clarke hit eight tons. For the Cock Inn, Brian Jones top scored with nine ton plusses.

GER Souls made light work of Top Flight winning 10-2. The GER side surged into an unassailable 8-0 lead. Tony Barnes recorded 10 tons; Gary Robertson nine tons; Paul Wenn hit a maximum 180 and Leon Womack had a 110 finish for the winning side. Best reply came from Dave Pinder with seven tons for the USC side.

GER Posh Canaries make up the last four and better finishing in the early stages saw them take a 6-1 lead. It was then left to captain Bob Dunlop to beat Maurice Wojtowych 2-0 in the second 501 singles game to put GER through.

Roy Wojtowych top scored with 11 ton plusses; Gary Wojtowych and Maurice Wojtowych recorded nine apiece. Top scorer for the victors was Tony Smith with seven ton plusses.
