Long Sutton ended the year with a well deserved Prem B victory.

Danny Sisson broke the deadlock, after some good play from Featherstone and Cook. Just before half-time Sutton worked a well drilled short corner allowing Sisson to get his second.

The second half saw Sutton up their pace and dominate.

Sisson completed his hat-trick and then Fyson got in on the act again with some top work from his teammates.

Sisson added his fourth to leave Sutton fifth in the table at Christmas.

Good teamwork won Sutton a short corner that Shore dispatched after Watt slipped to him. This was to repeat itself 10 minutes later.

Saints scored either side of the break to leave newly promoted Sutton fifth in the table.

James Baker’s two goals effectively settled this Div 6NW(N) fixture after the early deadlock was broken by an own goal in the home side’s favour.

LSHC Ladies 1,

Shefford & Sandy 1

This was a high tempo, at times fiercely competitive, match and with a draw being a fair outcome.

Long Sutton were weakened and down to only 11 players. On 25 minutes Shefford & Sandy drew first blood - literally with Jess Hudson taking an eye injury.

However a smart passing move found Becky Kierman in exactly the right zone to level for half-time.

This did justice to their third placing in this high quality East League NW2. PoM: Sarah Walker.

The first goal came from a short corner, with Millie Lamming crisply striking the ball out to Jeorgia Carr who fired a first time shot into the goal.

Lisa Baker fed Lamming for the second. In the second half Lamming completed her hat-trick. PoM: Lamming and Georgina Maplethorpe.
