Skipper helps save whitewash

There were no close matches in the Wisbech Table Tennis League this week.

Pegg Scaffolding were no match for Eagles losing 2-8. It was only Martin Skipper who prevented a whitewash when he won an excellent game against Owen Turner taking it all the way to the fifth and winning it 11-6.

His other win was over Jim Bell won in three straight with the first two games easily won 11-2, 11-2. The third end could have been a comeback for Bell but Skipper won it eventually 16-14.
