Third for Chatteris in Senior Fenland League final

Chatteris Kingfishers’ squad did extremely well in the A final of the Senior Fenland League at Downham Market.

They finished in third place, just two points behind Wisbech, with eight first places, 11 second spots and 11 third place finishes, with 10 personal best times.

Final result: West Norfolk 210, Wisbech 144, Chatteris 142, Dereham 106 and Ely 102.

First spots: Tyler Thomas in 14/U 100m back (p.b.), front crawl (p.b.) and butterfly, Hallie White in 12/U 50m butterfly (p.b.), Chloe Cook in 10/u 50m breaststroke and butterfly (p.b.) and the senior boys medley relay team (Tyler Thomas, Jake Hoy, Liam Oliver, Mark Thompson) and junior girls freestyle relay team (Hallie White, Megan Denman, Chloe Cook, Megan Dawson).

Second places: the same teams in senior freestyle relay and junior medley relay, as well as Freddie Allen in 10/U 50m butterfly, f/c and 50m breaststroke, Jake Hoy in 14/U 100m I.M. and breaststroke, Liam Oliver in open 100m I.M. (p.b.) and 100m front crawl, Mark Thompson in open 100m backstroke and Hallie White in 12/U 50m backstroke (p.b.).

Third: Thomas Hanley in 12/U 50m breaststroke, Megan Dawson in 12/U 50m front crawl and 100m I.M. (p.b.), Mark Thompson in the open 100m butterfly, Gary Smith in Open 100m breaststroke, Hallie White in 14/U 100m butterfly (p.b.), Chloe Cook and Freddie Allen in 10/U 50m backstroke, the junior boys medley as well as f/c relay team (Harry Rayner, Freddie Allen, Adam and Thomas Hanley) as well as the cannon relay team.
