Four brave souls from Tydd St Giles Golf Club take on the toughest test in amateur golf – the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge, 72 holes of golf in one day – on Sunday, June 22.

Team captain Mark Whittaker and his merry band of Malcolm Stead, Ian Edrupt and Neil John will play each round at a different course in a different county.

Starting at Sutton Bridge GC in Lincolnshire at 4am before moving onto home course at Tydd St Giles (Cambridgeshire) then Feltwell (Norfolk) and finishing at the Suffolk Golf Club before dark.

You can sponsor them at www.justgiving.com/TheBorderHoppers. The boys will be helped by Gail Edrupt, Luke Stanford, Andy Morris, Paul Amos and Andy Jackson.
