Six members of March AC completed the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday.

Lee Carey (second from left in the group of March runners) completed his first Marathon in 4 hours 3 minutes and 01 seconds. Debra Wait was first home for the club, securing ninth overall in her age category 45-49 and 129th lady overall. Geraldine Emmins and Frances Cooke have also secured guaranteed places for next year’s race due to their superb times.

March AC also send a team of marshalls and many thanks go to Mick Durrant and his March team.

lFenland Running Club’s Robbie Howlett, running his first marathon, clocked an impressive time of 3:16 and Dean Powley finished in 4:11.57. Dave Brammer battled valiantly against injury and pain and persevered to finish in 4:56:20. Nicole Coughlin improved on her previous best marathon time by four minutes to finish in 3:23:37.
