With the new badminton season now underway, Wisbech Badminton Club meets every Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm at the Thomas Clarkson Academy sports hall off Corporation Road, Wisbech.

Catering for all standards of players new members, aged 18 and above, will be welcomed with the first night free. If you enjoy the first evening then fees are either £5 per evening pay as you play or £80 with the season running until Easter 2016.

The club had a very successful 2014-15 season with mixed and men’s teams in the Hunts and Peterborough league.

The men’s team won their division with the mixed finishing second in theirs. The competition will continue this season with an additional men’s team in the Ouse Valley League.

So whether you want to play competitive league badminton or are a beginner who wants to improve your game and fitness, come along on a Wednesday.
