Oz all-rounder back in the fold

All-rounder Steve Seymour will return to March Town Cricket Club next summer.

The Australian (27), who last summer bagged consecutive Cambs Tucker League hat-tricks while on holiday watching the Olympics, will turn out for the entire season. The season begins on April 20 at home to Camden.

“I am obviously delighted to have Steve back in the ranks and when you consider he has been playing alongside the likes of David Hussey and Chris Rogers in Australia” said club captain Chris Ringham.

“He has immense experience of English tracks, having played at March in 2008 and 2009 .”

Wisbech Town CC captain Alan Burton is “90 per cent sure” of securing Kiwi pace bowler Kurt Law for the season. Burton played with the Auckland University 23-year-old during winters in New Zealand.

Law is trying to get a six-month visa and hopes to arrive in the UK at the end of March.
