Shardul Brahmbatt had a superb first game for Doddington Cricket Club against Cottenham who batted first and scored 119.

Firstly he picked up 5 for 33 off his 10 overs. He was well supported by Dan Martel, Ryan Wright and Saalik Mamood picking up a wicket each and Umaer Mamood picking up two wickets in his two overs.

Brahmbatt and Martel were in control from the start in reply, scoring 89 for the loss of one wicket, Martel scoring 30.

Then it was up to skipper Scott Bamford (8 no) to support Brahmbatt, who finished with 70 not out in a great win.
