Wimblington stay on top after thriller

Wimblington remain top of CCA Junior Division 3A after a superb fielding display helped them to a three-run win against Willingham.

They struggled against some good seam bowling, losing wickets at regular intervals before being all out in the 29th over for 135 with Dave Walker scoring 66.

Willingham started well reaching 69 for 2 after 15 overs with Jason Bullman 2-34 again bowling well.

Then came the Willingham collapse with Adrian Bussey and Mick McCarthy slowing things down by bowling five maidens in a row. Bussey finished with 3-17 and McCarthy 3-24.

Kris Judge held onto two brilliant catches in the deep and then he picked up the final wicket as Willingham were all out for 132 in the 39th over.
