Wisbech Town first team’s Cambs Tucker Premier League Division One game was rained off at Godmanchester after Wisbech had made 131-9 declared in 41.1 overs.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Bowers top scored with 49, Simon Freear 33 and Brad Perrett 21. Wisbech gained nine points and their opponents 12.
Wisbech skipper Alan Burton said: “It was OK when we started but it rained three or four times after that and it was called off at the changeover between innings.”

Thriplow posted 227-9 (Ivan Burgess 1-54, Matt Pack 2-32, Matthew Parrin 3-35 and Danny Emmington 1-11).
None of the first seven Wisbech batsmen reached double figures and it took tail-enders Burgess 21, Matt Pack not out 56, Shane Sleath 32 and Craig Pack not out 40 to get them up to 179-9.
The 3rds’ game against Abbots Ripton was abandoned while the 4ths lost to Burwell 3rds by 43 runs.
Burwell were dismissed for 139 (Harry Drew 2-17, Nick Drew 3-29 and Tom Chapman 3-34). Wisbech were bowled out for 96 with only Robbie Harris (33) getting past 20.
Doddington conceded the Fenland Trophy match to Wisbech 3rds on Sunday.
Heavy rain caused the Rutland League Division 1 game at March Town to be abandoned on Sunday.
March batted first and reached 100 for 6 off 32 overs. David Hodson 29 (4x4), Steve Seymour 26 (4x4) and Nathan Oliver 20 (2x4) were the main run scorers. James Williams 2-20 was the main wicket taker for Wisbech.
