The Lincolnshire Film Archive will be presenting a film show featuring a special selection of archive footage relating to the southern part of the county and to our own area in particular.
This sill be at the Market House Long Sutton on Friday 13 September. Tickets £5 from Market House call 01406 366767.
The programme will cover a wide range of topics including the Home Guard, the Spalding to King’s Lynn railway line, local agriculture and dramatic scenes of the disastrous 1953 floods.
A selection of Lincolnshire Film Archive DVDs will be on sale, including those in the major new series ‘Lincolnshire: A Century on Film’.
