Up to 320 people went along to the annual Fenland Job Fair.

More than 225 vacancies were offered by the 20-plus organisations taking part in the all-day event at Wisbech. Scores of volunteering opportunities were also on offer.

Advice and practical help were available on improving CVs, job applications and interview techniques, plus pointers to various skills courses.

The fair was held at the Queen Mary Centre and organised by Luminus’s Ferry Project, with funding from the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and extra support from Anglian Water and Fenland District Council.
