King’s Lynn man to be sentenced after speeding on A47 at Terrington St John

A man is set to be sentenced after speeding at nearly 120mph while disqualified from driving.

Osvaldas Zeneiauskas, 35, of Morston Drift in King’s Lynn, previously pleaded guilty to three offences when he appeared at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on May 31.

They included speeding at 118mph on the A47 at Terrington St John – which has a 70mph limit – on December 17 last year. He was driving a Volkswagen Passat.

At the same time, he was also driving while disqualified and driving without third party insurance – which he also admitted to.

His case was adjourned on May 31 for a pre-sentence report to be carried out, and Lynn magistrates were given an update on the case on Thursday.

Probation officer John O’Grady told them that Zeneiauskas will attend a meeting on July 25 for the report to be carried out, and his sentencing was further adjourned until September 6.

Zeneiauskas is currently on conditional bail.
