Afternoon tea fit for the Queen
Youngsters enjoyed afternoon tea fit for a Queen when they celebrated Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
Children at Leverington Primary Academy marked the Queen’s special milestone with an afternoon tea at lunchtime on Thursday.
The whole school took part in the occasion and the sunny weather allowed the party to be held in the playground.
Pupils also dressed up in patriotic red, white and blue, and flew the Union flag.
The school was also joined by youngsters from Leverington’s Stepping Stones Pre-School for the event.
Deputy headteacher Elaine Aldrich said: “The children had a right royal do and really enjoyed the party.”
