Anglian Players

MARCH-based Anglian Player’s spring production is entitled ‘Kindly Leave the Stage’.

The play is written by John Chapman, who has had a long career in drama, writing scripts for both the stage and for television. ‘Kindly Leave The Stage’ is an intriguing comedy in two acts built around a ‘play-within-a-play’.

It provides an amusing blend of art and reality in which the trials and tribulations of characters within a play become reflected in the lives of the actual actors performing in it.

‘Kindly Leave The Stage’, which lampoons the acting world, will be performed from May 17 to 19 at March Community Centre in Station Road.

Performances start at 7.30pm. There will be a raffle during each show and a licensed bar.

Tickets cost £7 (concessions £6) and can be obtained from The Pet Shop, 14 Station Road, March or bought at the door on the night.
