Residents should have recently received at least one annual canvass form from Fenland District Council.
Anyone who has not yet returned their form or who has had it sent back to them for further information or a signature will soon be getting a visit from a canvasser to collect the information requested.
Visits will take place Thursday (September 17) until October 11. All canvassers will have official ID.
Anyone who has not yet returned a form should do so as soon as possible. To save council time and resources, people are asked to use the online, telephone or text options where possible and only return the paper form if absolutely necessary.
New electors who have been added to the household form will receive a subsequent invitation to register individually. This should also be completed and returned even where a household form has been sent back or a further visit to collect information from individuals may be required.
New electors can register online using www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. However, all household forms need to be returned even if individuals have recently registered.
