Appeal following serious collision involving pedestrian in Wisbech

Officers are appealing for information after a silver Volkswagen Golf was involved in a collision with a pedestrian in Wisbech yesterday (Sunday).

At about 3pm, the pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was crossing the road on North Street when the collision took place.

Police and ambulance services attended and the woman was taken to hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagen was not injured.
