The new owner of a cottage in Chatteris has approached the Chatteris Archive in a bid to locate some old photgraphs of his home. The cottage in Station Street is one of only a three thatched cottages in the town,
It is it was formerly a pub known as the Boars Head and is probably a few hundred years old.
Unfortunately the only photographs in the archive are dated from the late 1980s and nothing older .
The archive has asked Citizen readers to step in and help and is asking anyone who might have older pictures to come forward.
If you can help then contact Chatteris Museum or email chatterisarchive@hotmail,co.uk or ring Julie Smith 01354-694289.
