Appeal for trustees

DO you have some experience of marketing, public relations, fundraising, IT skills, web design, human resources, accountancy, management experience, life skills, to name but a few?

Are you pro-active in your community in Chatteris, March, Wisbech or any of the villages?

Or, are you from a business perhaps interested in promoting volunteering among your employees?

Volunteer Centre Fenland and other charities are always looking for new trustees to help improve their services.

New trustees can broaden skills and knowledge. It is important to be able to contribute at a strategic level in order to help organisations achieve their goals. You do not need previous experience of voluntary management committees. If you are aged over 18, your skills can help others to develop their skills, with ongoing support and training.

The time commitment is normally a few hours each month. The role of trustee is unpaid, although expenses can be reimbursed. If you feel you can help the Volunteer Centre Fenland wants to hear from you.

If you are an organisation looking to recruit new trustees or are interested in becoming a trustee, Volunteer Centre Fenland is hosting a Trustee Recruitment Information evening on May 19 from 5pm to 7pm at the Rosmini Centre, Wisbech.
