Arrest for driver after chase and game of 'hide and seek' in Wisbech

Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team were on patrol in the early hours of Friday (4) when a Ford Transit van failed to stop for officers.

A short controlled pursuit in Wisbech town centre ended in a decamp in St Peter's car park. After a short foot chase and a game of 'hide and seek', one male was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop for police.

The driver was taken to custody at the police investigation centre in King's Lynn and enquiries continue into this matter.
