Arrest for driver after Wisbech crash in which car overturned

The driver of this vehicle left the scene of this single vehicle crash, which happened in Lynn Road, Wisbech, yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, before emergency services arrived.
The driver was spotted nearby and was intercepted by a police sergeant, who then arrested him., on suspicion of drink driving

He was taken to hospital for checks and was later released with no injury and taken to thepolice investigation centre at King's Lynn, where he provided a breath test with a reading of 77mgs, limit being 35.

Officers were speaking with the driver later yesterday evening in relation to their actions. The vehicle was recovered and highways attended to make the traffic lights safe.
