Sixteen of Chatteris Kingfishers’ junior squad took part in the third round of the Peterborough mini-meet and came away with a total of 36 personal bests.

The girls swam 50m front crawl, 50m breaststroke and 200m I.M. and the boys swam 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke and 200m f/c. These races were also swum in the first round, so the times could be compared.

Naomi Lambert-Di Marco, Molly Noble, Kiara Kovacs, Hallie White (all 11) and Megan Dawson (12) for the girls and Thomas Hanley and Riley Astley (both 11) managed to swim PB times in all three of their races.

Freddie Allen (9) swam two races and got PBs in both, finishing third in 50m butterfly and fourth in 50m backstroke. Hallie White delivered an incredible second place in her 50m f/c, in a strong field. Thomas Hanley finished second in 50m backstroke and third in both 50m butterfly and 200m f/c, with Riley Astley third in 50m backstroke.
