Blaze involving car and caravan on A141 near Chatteris

Firefighters tackled a blaze involving a car and a caravan on the A141 near Chatteris this afternoon.

A crew from the town was called to the incident at 1.06pm.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 2.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
