Body in river at Wisbech believed to be missing Peterborough woman

The body of woman found in the river in Wisbech yesterday (Tuesday) is believed to be that of a missing Peterborough woman.

The family of 55-year-old Kim Hunt are aware of the discovery but formal identification has yet to be completed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be passed to the coroner.

Kim was last seen near her home in Coneygree Road, Peterborough, on Saturday December 4. It is believed she has not returned home since.

Officers, who issued an appeal to help find Kim, said they were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and were carrying out searches in the area.
